Shipping Policy
Effective Date: December 5th, 2023 | Last Updated: December 8th, 2025
1. Introduction
This Shipping Policy outlines the responsibilities of sellers and expectations for buyers on Shibspot regarding the shipping of products purchased through the platform. By purchasing or selling on Shibspot, you agree to comply with this policy.
2. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers on Shibspot are responsible for shipping products in a timely and reliable manner. Sellers must:
- Ship orders within 2 business days after payment is confirmed;
- Use appropriate packaging to protect items during transit;
- Provide tracking information to buyers when available;
- Ensure that shipments comply with customs and import regulations of the buyer’s country;
- Promptly communicate any delays or shipping issues to buyers.
3. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Buyers should:
- Confirm that the shipping address is correct and complete;
- Provide any additional information required for customs clearance in their country;
- Ensure that someone is available to receive the package or provide instructions for delivery if necessary.
4. Shipping Methods & Costs
Shipping methods and costs are determined by the seller and may vary by product, destination, and shipping provider. Buyers should review shipping details on each product listing before making a purchase. Shibspot does not guarantee specific delivery times but encourages sellers to provide estimated delivery dates.
5. Shipping Time
Estimated delivery timeframes are displayed directly on each product page and again during the checkout process. These estimates are based on the shipping method selected, fulfillment time from the seller, and the destination country.
Shipping times assume normal transit conditions and do not account for unforeseen customs inspections, delays, or regulatory reviews. In the event of customs delays, delivery may take longer than estimated and beyond the control of Shibspot or the seller.
Under normal conditions, Shibspot and participating sellers strive to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe displayed during your purchase. These delivery windows are estimates and not guaranteed, although every reasonable effort is made to meet them.
6. Customs and Import Requirements
All shipments are international. Buyers may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by their country. Sellers must provide accurate product information to avoid customs delays. Shibspot is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections or regulatory requirements.
7. Lost or Undelivered Orders
If a package is delayed, lost in transit, or marked as delivered but has not been received, buyers must first contact the shipping carrier using the tracking information provided by the seller. In many cases, carriers are able to provide delivery confirmation, updated status, or open an investigation into the shipment.
Sellers are expected to cooperate with carrier investigations and, where appropriate, assist buyers by submitting missing package claims. Resolution timelines depend on the carrier and country of destination. Until the investigation is completed by the carrier, Shibspot does not guarantee reimbursement or replacement.
For security reasons, refunds or replacements for lost or undelivered items are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In situations where carrier tracking confirms delivery to the address provided by the buyer, responsibility may rest with the buyer. Shibspot encourages buyers to provide secure and accurate delivery addresses to avoid such issues.
8. Updates to Shipping Policy
Shibspot reserves the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
