Prohibited Items Policy

1. Introduction
Shibspot is committed to providing a safe and trustworthy marketplace for buyers and sellers worldwide. The Prohibited Items Policy defines the types of products that may not be listed, sold, or shipped through the Shibspot platform. All users are required to comply with this policy.
2. General Prohibited Items
The following categories of items are strictly prohibited on Shibspot:
- Illegal products under applicable law, including drugs, controlled substances, and stolen goods
- Weapons, firearms, explosives, and ammunition
- Products that infringe on intellectual property rights, including counterfeit goods
- Products that are hazardous or unsafe for shipping or handling
- Items that are offensive, obscene, or intended to promote hate or discrimination
3. Restricted Items for International Shipping
Because every shipment is international, certain items may be restricted or prohibited by customs or import/export regulations of the destination country. Sellers must comply with all applicable laws and shipping regulations, including but not limited to:
- Alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products
- Perishable food items or plants without proper certification
- Currency, precious metals, or financial instruments requiring regulatory approval
Shibspot is not liable for delays, seizures, or legal penalties arising from shipping restricted items in violation of local laws.
4. Seller Responsibilities
- Ensure all listings comply with this Prohibited Items Policy and applicable laws
- Do not list items that are illegal, counterfeit, or restricted for international shipping
- Provide accurate product descriptions and declare all items truthfully to avoid disputes or penalties
5. Enforcement and Consequences
Shibspot reserves the right to remove any listing that violates this policy at any time. Sellers who repeatedly or intentionally violate this policy may face:
- Suspension or termination of their seller account
- Forfeiture of funds from prohibited item sales
- Legal action if required by applicable law
Buyers are encouraged to report prohibited items to Shibspot immediately via claims@shibspot.com.
6. Changes to This Policy
Shibspot may update this Prohibited Items Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
