Description from the seller
Product Details:
This is a Front Right Stabilizer Link for Honda Fit, manufactured by GMB. The model number is GSL-HO-23R and it is compatible with Honda Fit GD1/GT642D3 H16~ and onwards. It includes 1 piece (with 2 nuts), and the part placement is on the front right. The product weighs 600 grams, and the packaging dimensions are 40.6 x 9.2 x 5 cm.
Special Features:
GMB's stabilizer link has moderate friction torque and rotational motion, allowing for smooth vehicle operation. It appropriately responds to irregular fluctuations in the road surface, supporting the vehicle's stable driving performance and comfort. It uses high-friction-resistant resin sheets (POM: ACETAL) and special synthetic grease between the ball of the ball joint to minimize friction. For extended lifespan, GMB uses grease to prevent mud water infiltration within the dust cover.
Quality Assurance:
At GMB, we carry out static tests, destruction tests, and endurance tests during development to ensure product reliability. We carry out appropriate heat treatment for special steel and conduct rigorous acceptance inspections. We run thorough quality control checks, including self-inspections and patrol inspections at each manufacturing process.
Stabilizer Link Function:
In independent suspension, due to road conditions, it is necessary to keep the left and right wheels in sync. A stabilizer bar made of spring material is installed. By fixing the height difference between left and right wheels, torsional moment occurs, stabilizing the bar firmly to the vehicle body. This conversion from up-down motion energy to torsional energy, maintains the balance of both wheels, preventing wheel tilt and vibration.
Stabilizer Link Structure:
The stabilizer bar is fixed to the vehicle body by connecting rods. On each end of the connecting rod is a connecting device. There are two types of connecting devices, both ball joint type and one rubber bush type. The ball stud is positioned within a resin ball seat in the housing welded to the connecting rod. Special synthetic grease is placed between the ball stud and the ball seat to prevent friction. A plug is inserted on one side of the housing to crimp the housing, and a dust cover filled with grease is assembled on the opposite side to prevent grease leakage and intrusion. The ball stud is equipped with a hexagonal or hexagonal hole width for assembly or disassembly.
