Manufacturer Specifications
This advanced suspension system is produced by HKS, a recognised brand leader in aftermarket performance parts. The product model number is 80300-AF009P, and it weighs in at a hefty 26kg. The packaged dimensions are 56.5 x 41 x 29 cm. It comes with a 3-year or 60,000 km warranty (please refer to the manufacturer's website for full warranty details and coverages).
Performance and Design
The successful 20SPEC suspension system gets an upgrade with the MAX S. By focusing on the connection between the needle and the valve, the HIPERMAX S offers a more flexible damping feel. It employs the PVS mechanism accurately and, if required, adopts a dual form to thoroughly control unnecessary damping force. Using high durability and low friction type bushes in the inverted bush, along with a customised grease, allows for smoother damper operation and more long-lasting performance. The system colour has been updated to a metallic gunmetal shade in line with the new release. The upper mount has been chamfered to improve aesthetics.
Vehicle Height Limitations
Adjustable within the following ranges; however, the lowest limit is not compliant with safety standards. So, check the details below. For WRX STI: F 0 - -31mm, R 0 - -59mm. For WRX S4: F 0 - -37mm, R -1 - -62mm. Note that these adjustments do not cause interference with the body or arm, but limitations may apply depending on the sizes of the tyres/wheels.
