Description from the seller
Product Overview
Introducing the BLITZ BIG CALIPER KIT II, meticulously engineered to deliver exceptional braking performance for your Toyota Corolla Sport and Prius models. This advanced brake caliper kit combines a stunning design with top-tier functionality to ensure maximum stopping power and control, allowing you to experience driving like never before.
Premium Construction
Crafted from high-grade aluminum and featuring a lightweight, forged four-pot caliper design, the kit ensures both reduced weight and enhanced rigidity. The inclusion of a 330mm slotted rotor elevates the performance by improving heat dissipation, effectively minimizing brake fade and maintaining optimal pad performance.
Outstanding Performance Features
The calipers showcase a vibrant metallic red finish paired with a sleek black bell housing, elevating the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle's wheel setup. This kit has demonstrated its prowess on the track, as evidenced by its successful implementation in Racing Project Tsukuba time attacks, where its exceptional stopping power and handling capabilities were put to the test.
Compatibility & Installation
This kit is specifically designed for the following models:
- Toyota Corolla Sport (from June 2018, ZRE210H/NRE214H/ZWE211H)
- Toyota Prius (from December 2015, ZVW50/ZVW51/ZVW55)
While all necessary components for installation are included, please note that brake fluid, grease, and other chemicals are not provided. Additionally, the use of this caliper kit will require aftermarket wheels, as factory wheels are not compatible. It is crucial to verify the clearance of your selected wheels before installation to ensure a perfect fit.
Installation Considerations
Some modifications to the backplate may be required during the installation process. We recommend caution to avoid distorting any remaining components or leaving debris within the vehicle. Please also be aware that the surface anodizing on the center bell housing may peel or discolor during prolonged high-temperature use (primarily seen in select models), although this will not affect performance metrics.
General Usage Notes
It is normal for the brake pads to produce noise when cold or wet, due to inherent pad characteristics. Before making your purchase, ensure to check our vehicle-specific compatibility chart to confirm that your car’s model and variant matches with the brake kit specifications, including model year and type code.
